LukWuk is a Jamaica-based hospitality shift-work marketplace. Businesses pay workers directly in cash after completed shifts. LukWuk charges businesses separately for marketplace access and matching. Workers do not pay LukWuk fees.

## Worker Pay

- Currency: Jamaican Dollar (JMD / J$)
- Minimum worker pay: J$3,500 per worker, per shift
- Worker payment method during beta: cash paid directly by the business after the completed shift
- Worker deductions: none. LukWuk does not deduct platform fees, processing fees, support costs, or dispute costs from worker pay.

## Business Option 1: Pay-Per-Shift

- Monthly commitment: none
- Platform fee: 20% of the worker cash subtotal per shift
- Minimum platform fee: J$1,250 per shift
- Billing trigger: when a worker confirms the shift
- Collection method: accrued fees are collected from the business by billing statement
- Best fit: businesses posting fewer than 12 workers per month

### Pay-Per-Shift Examples

- One worker at J$8,000: worker receives J$8,000 cash from the business; LukWuk platform fee is J$1,600.
- One worker at J$3,500: worker receives J$3,500 cash from the business; the J$1,250 minimum platform fee applies.

## Business Option 2: Monthly Subscription

Subscriptions remove per-worker match fees within plan limits.
